Dear All,
It has been brought to my attention that the large steal gate at the rear of the Boathouse has come away from its concrete base.
UL Maintenance has temporarily secured this with a Ratchet Strap which I have been asked to warn that NO ONE should attempt to remove this or interfere in any way with the temporary repairs done here.
It seems there is a fault in the whole structure / system and UL B&E Dept are urgently arranging to have this addressed and made safe as it would be dangerous for anyone to try to remove the straps or open this gate.
While all resident club contacts of the UL Boathouse have been copied on this notice and while only some clubs use that back yard access area to the river it is important that all users are aware of the issue.
Thank you in anticipation of your support on this matter.
Regards
Neasa

Sheep, like all wool-bearing animals, instinctively travel north, where it's colder, and they won't be so stuffy.
