5 boats (all Zets) on the river in total: Eoghan leading, myself on rescue, rescue assist from Keith, then with Eoin and Stephen filling out the group.
Cold day, typical of the Welsh trips. Frequent heavy hail showers, little sunshine.
The water levels were brown and up slightly from the summer's atypically low ~6 cumec - maybe 8 cumec. Still below the dissolved slots in the limestone features on the cave eddy and the castle wall eddy.
Nothing really unusual from the day's paddling, lots of level 3 stuff taught and tested. A swim each from the lads, towards the end of the day. Off after sunset but before it got dark. Really good day, and great practice for Wales!
