It's been announced that all Wavesport manufacture and distribution is being moved to Europe.
All US based staff are moving over to Dagger.

So are they stopping making all of their boats altogether and starting from scratch or are they just moving the factory to Europe and continuing to make the same boats just with different staff and a different location? I saw a couple of people ask that question and even Wave Sport themselves won't answer it. It's pretty confusing.
Sheep, like all wool-bearing animals, instinctively travel north, where it's colder, and they won't be so stuffy.

I've heard that too, sounds like whitewater staff are moving to Dagger. Maybe they are going to focus only on playboats in wave sport, drop the habitat and focus f the mamba and MX in dagger so they are no longer in competition

Simon Westgarth's opinion
Basically this is probably the beginning of the end of Wavesport. In transferring the moulds to Europe, probably to Perception UK, they will produce all the current line up, under demand tapers away. As with Perception Kayak's white water boats, there is no in house boat shaping expertise in white water, and as such there is highly unlikely to be no new Wavesport designs. If Blue & White Confluence Watersport's european main distributor has taken on the Wavesport line, this may be an interesting development. They have capital, but again no track record of boat manufacturing nor boat shaping expertise, but no boats are on the balance of things more likely. Neither Blue & White or Perception UK, have announced any developments.
