I was thinking of getting a Cag and a proper pair of boots but i'm not really sure exactly what would a good one to go for for someone who is inexperienced like me :? , Any advice?

It all depends on your budget, you can buy a semi dry cag now and then upgrade in the future or you can splash out now on a fully dry cag now that will last you a long time.
Same with shoes you can buy kayak specific shoes or just go TK Maxx and get a pair of outdoor shoes. You will probably need neoprene socks either way for some warmth

Don't think you can pick the colour of Werners, each model just comes in one colour as far as I know! ...if you want a sherpa you're getting yellow, if you want puke green you're getting a twist!

Straight Shaft or Cranks? Also pretty sure the blades only come in one colour, Sherpas are yellow, the pukey green ones are twists. You should go for these
