Have an itouch but the earphone jack is broken... I know that docking stations can play the music through the charging port. So is there an adapter I can buy so I can plug an aux cable from my car radio into my charging port to play music??? Would like to use the aux cable since I just got it. Also it's the older itouch with the bigger charger port

Ah you want to know which in particular would resolve your issue? I just answered the question you asked
But, I actually have a real answer:
For a cable to get you out of your difficulty try here:
http://www.amazon.com/Atomic-Market-Con ... B00AVLUVO8
Searching for apple 30-pin to 3.5mm jack should get you what you want, if that seller doesn't deliver to .ie.
As far as I know the headphone socket is a seperate piece on the Touch, and as such can be fairly easily replaced if it's a 4th gen Touch.

If it's a 5th gen Touch with the new crappy Lightning connector, you're SOL unfortunately as the headphone socket is soldered to the logic board and you may have a difficult time getting the replacement part and then fun soldering it in.. You'd have to use what's referenced here: http://www.iphonefaq.org/archives/972175

Sick of your shit Cathal...
Can't change the earphone jack because the screen is cracked too. So would have to change that also as it'll probably fall apart when i take it off to change the jack. I don't really have the time for all that at the moment... and don't want to fŭck it up as it would be my first time.
Anyway that cable looks interesting.. But this is when problem #2 shows its face!
This is the aux connection I have for my radio
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Blaupunkt-conne ... 3KOCERHML7
So I would probably need another converter of sorts which I can't find at the moment.
But I have been told you can get cheap docking stations for like 1.50 in deals which have an earphone jack in them which i could plug the car radio into?
