I'm still trying to figure out when I'm going down. I know I cant afford 5 or 6 days straight down there. I should know by the end of the week though. I'll definitely give you the money before I arrive down Cathal.
Sheep, like all wool-bearing animals, instinctively travel north, where it's colder, and they won't be so stuffy.

I'm in pretty much the same boat as Gavin, dunno what I'm doing yet because I don't know what I'm working yet. If I do end up going it'll be for one or two nights only and I'll pay you also Cathal if I do end up going
Ah shit buzz. Go and tell work to get fŭcked, and come down anyway. Or tell them you've died or something
Here's a super loose, extremily flexible plan for the week which will change depending on rainfall:
Saturday the 27th: Lower Carragh. Super easy grade 2 run where we can get used to the boats again, run through some basic skills and make sure that everyone is on the same page with regards to rescues and stuff.
Sunday 28th: Flesk Race! All of our experienced paddlers should be competing in this, an for anyone who's not able for it yet it'll be a great chance to watch Ireland's best boaters in action, have a chat and get to know everyone.
Monday 29th: Upper Carragh. Nice grade 3 run, handy for most of the way with a couple of more challenging rapids that will keep the experienced guys on their toes. Easy to walk around anything you're not happy to paddle.
Tuesday 30th: Clydagh/Upper Flesk. Another step up, which will depend on most people managing most of the Carragh mostly ok. Sweet grade 3 run with an awesome slide in the middle of it! I havn't run this for a while but a few of the guys who were on it last year should have more info. The experienced guys can go on and run the middle Flesk afterwards if there's water.
Wednesday 31st: Roughty. Awesome pool drop grade 3/4 depending on levels. Should be well doable by everyone after a couple of decent days on the water!
Thursday 1st: Recovery day! Upper Carragh, or whatever people feel like in the morning. Staying in bed is not an option! Better to go paddling than sit around feeling sorry for yourself all day!
Friday 2nd: Gearman. Another nice pool-drop run. Havn't run it for a while either, did it for my level 4 assessment back in the day and remember it as being awesome craic.
Saturday 3rd: Wherever really, possibly Roughty followed by Flesk for whoever's feeling on form.
Lots of other options in the area depending on the weather, guides to pretty much everything are up here: http://www.iww.ie/river_guide/index.php?s=0&p=1
Caoimhe, Gav, I get ye but it's impossible to plan anything on who 'might' be around. The sooner ye can confirm things the easier it'll be to sort everything out.

I'll be down midday on the Monday.
Note that we are not likely to be able to use the house Saturday evening, I am sure that our "out" time is midday on the Saturday.

I know the feeling Caoimhe, best of luck with it! Hopefully they'll play ball and let you down for a good chunk of it!
That's grand Cathal, plan would be to pack everything, go boating and head directly back to Limerick afterwards.
