So last yr we helped out at a triathlon in Kilkee called the "HELL OF THE WEST"
and I got an email there that the organisers want us to help out again! It was one of the best weekends of my summer last year (it was a weak summer) and I want to know who wants to go this yr. What we do is pretty much follow the swimmers in our kayaks and call over a rescue boat if they want to get out.
It is on June 28th and 29th and we are put up for two nights in lovely houses and paid we also get free hell of the West Jackets and they are KLASS!
KEEP IN MIND!!
This isn't for everybody I think you should have your level 2 before you go, I don't want people swimming and having to get rescued, because we are the rescue! Last yr the swells in the water were big and the swimmers in the water can panic and grab ur boat not saying this will happen but be aware!!
