For those of you who don't know what this is, Hell of The West is a triathlon run in Kilkee every year - 24th (Friday) to 26th of June. For the swimming section of the triathlon, we are asked to provide safety boaters. We get some very snazzy jackets (this year they're almost the UL colours) and a contribution towards our stay, so free accommodation and cheaper petrol.
Long story short this is one of the best weekends of the Summer. Ask anyone who has gone before and they will make sure to convince you to go.
For now, what the organisers need is a rough estimate of how many jackets of each size they need to order. So if you want to go on this weekend please comment below what jacket size you would need based on the measurements below. Don't comment unless you are absolutely positive you will be there.
They're looking for about 25 paddlers, so sign on up, with your selected size.

Great weekend, definitely would recommend going and helping out but if you want to go DECIDE NOW AND STANDBY YOUR DECISION. Mark will be telling Hell of the West how many safety kayakers they will have for their event, last year due to people changing their mind last minute we had to explain to them why we couldn't supply the cover we promised. This is a class oportunity for the club to be offered which I and a load of others will really enjoy doing but if you commit to going, because you want the jacket or otherwise, and don't show up we might not be getting offered this again.
I hope to see you all there, but please do not sign up unless you can go.

Accommodation for this has been booked for this Hostel right in the center of Kilkee. Should be a good atmosphere for the whole weekend.

Is there a deadline for sign up or to be guaranteed a jacket?
Sheep, like all wool-bearing animals, instinctively travel north, where it's colder, and they won't be so stuffy.
