River Clean-Up 12-March-2016

Calling all members. Our annual river clean up is drawing near once again and the help of all our members will be needed to beat our impressive haul from last year!!
Meeting at the boathouse at 9:30 on March 12th we'll take to the water gathering rubbish on the banks and islands of the Shannon as it flows through UL. Bags, gloves and litter pickers will all be provided, all we need is some help. Ask anyone from previous years and they will tell you that exploring these islands is a day well spent, plenty of fun will be had and it is a great way to give back to your club and the University.
This year aims to beat all records with the UL Green Committee coordinating an on the bank clean up at the same time so a good atmosphere is promised and huge results are expected. They have also been nice enough to offer complimentary food and drinks to all of us afterwards. If any of you are interested in attending you'd be more than welcome, sign up below and come along on the day.
