I'm considering the purchase of a decent drysuit.
Looking for thoughts and recommendations.

Thinking of the Kotakat Idol two-part suit..

I've heard typhoon are pretty good for reasonable (ish by drysuit standards) money.

I'm grossly under-qualified comment on what's good or bad, but from seeing how the different peoples drysuits go together, the Kokatat Idol seems quite awkward compared to others.

I love my Meridian. The front entry works great on it, very easy to close yourself.

On coco's comment the idol is a pain in the arse to get used to In terms of the zip but absolutely fantastic once you get sorted I was used to mine after a bit over a week in the alps and you have alot more experience than me so you would be fine with it if you can afford it

Ordered the Kotakat 2-part drysuit through I-canoe. 3-4 weeks to delivery, as they don't stock these regularly
