University of Limerick Kayak Club

Hello guys,
the recruitment drive is on Wednesday the 3rd of February in the Foyer of the University Concert Hall (aka. the Foundation building). Set up is from 4-5pm. 5pm to 7.30/8pm is the time for recruiting our freshers. It would be great to see some of our newer members coming along as well as our longer standing members.

What is required: Well some of our members do like to throw on a pair of board shorts and a rashie but day clothes are perfect too. All that you have to do is answer a few questions from potential members. Basically make our club sound as class as possible (which won't be hard to do!!!)

So just post up here if you can come along and help out. All appreciated!

Can we do a North Korea on it and walk around holding a massive picture of Jack Phelans face high above us? I really think thatd pull in like a good 3 members?

So the AGM is the same night then?

Yeah, recruitment drive should realistically finish up around 7 so it shouldn't overlap much.

So guys we will need some laptops and extension cables for the recruitment drive today. I will be bringing my laptop but we will need several others.

I don't think there will be room for playboats, maybe one max. Gonna have to just bring paddles and ba's

We just got an email from Paul Lee there, there won't be any room for boats or other large items so will just have to do with paddles etc

I'll bring my helmet paddle BA probably won't be around until 6
