2nd in whitewater, 3rd in polo, pretty well in long distance and almost certain we won freestyle. A half decent boater cross and we should have it!

Done, dusted, and questionable freestyle judging and leaving Caoimhe out of the BoaterX results wasn't enough to stop us from winning!!
#7inarow!!!
The anti-UL vibe is starting to cross a line though. There was a lot of chanting and stuff during the weekend that could have been passed off as harmless banter, but we got booed when they announced the results which wasn't really cool.

Seems the Irish truth that we are a nation of begrudgers is still valid.
A bit of banter is fine, it promotes a bit of healthy competition and it does edge us on to push a bit harder during the competition.
Booing at the prize-giving is definitely not cool.
I hope we were gracious in victory

Ah I'm sure NUIG weren't the most popular when they won 7 in a row.
Good to see other colleges are catching up, a mixture of good fortune and good goal keeping in the polo probably won it for UL in the end. Although I'm not sure how on earth the freestyle was scored to be fair.. that seemed off.

We've won by just a couple of points every year, we seem to keep doing just enough to take it!
I was blown away when they announced the freestyle result. Whatever about DCU beating us, that's not so bad but DIT in first is just ridiculus.

I think the freestyle judges relationship with the winning freestyle college may have been a factor.

The best I remember was when we won it by 6 points. That same year they were awarding overall points for the fancy dress which we won and were awarded...6 points!

We won by 6 points this year too. 93 compared to NUIGs 87.
