University of Limerick Kayak Club

I am going to put in a I-Canoe order next weekend so if people want anything please post below with a link to the product, what size and colour you want.
If the order is big enough we should be able to get a 20% discount.

People on the first week of Alps
The committee has decided it is mandatory for everyone going on the first week to have the following:
Sling (reccommend bulk buying nylon tape and making slings, tell me how many meters you want)(reccommend about 3-5m per sling)
Karabiner (screwgate - the €10 one off i-canoe should do the job)
Knife (reccommend PeakUK river knife)
Whistle (any)

Equipment that is not mandatory but is highly reccommended that you get:
Throw-rope (Reccommend HF compact classic, €45 or HF weasel, €35) (the club has a few that can be used but make sure that there are enough for you)
second screw gate karabiner
second sling
prussik loop
First aid kit (in a waterproof box!)

Deadline for orders is Sunday the 13th at 6pm

I'm looking for 2x screw-gate carabiners, and 2x ordinary carabiners, to replace those that either corroded or fell down between rocks or just plain went missing over the past year, plus an aquapac for the S4 Active. (plus probably a Zet Director..)

I'm getting the cash together to get a larger creeker for the Alps trip at the moment, and I'll know for sure this Friday (all going to plan) if this will be happening. If all goes to plan, I'll want to order one of these Zet Directors in orange if they can, or yellow. Hopefully attaching to this order may help with getting the club a better discount as well as a better price for myself.

day-um, a boat! If only it was next month and I had the time to gather the cash, €220 off is significant!

The mark up by retailers on kayaks is not much so Id be surprised if you got 20% off the kayak.
