I'll need somewhere to sleep on the Friday night...I plan on sleeping in Lionel Richie's moustache on Saturday night.

What date are we even heading up there on? Friday or Sat morning? And what approx times?
Also if anybody if offering a space in a tent, I'd be grateful, if not, I can bring my own...

Friday night. Leaving UL around 7pm. A definite time will be confirmed later in the week but definitely Friday night!

There's a few tents in the bh. Take one if you can't find space elsewhere.

Okay, so I've got myself free for this evening, I can drive up if I'm still needed... space for 3 people and 3 boats (unless someone else has space to take all our gear, as my boot is tiny! so will need to use a seat for gear..)
Has a 'definitive' time for leaving UL been decided? or arrival to start packing? just saw fb message, - 7 and 6:30...
Hi Patrick, I should be able to pick up a tent for the pair of us this afternoon

Lads don't want to put a negative note on this but to anyone who pulled out of this recently it is not on!
The post specifically said only to sign up if you could go and you were then asked to let Caoimhe know if you can't go.
We will now be turning up with 9 less people than we promised for an event that hundreds of people have paid for and trained for months for. I know I don't want ULKC to be the reason this event can't run smoothly and there is now a high chance of this happening as it is very late notice for them to find alternative safety. ULKC have been going to this event for the last number of years and I would hate for us to be not invited back next year because some people are simply too lazy to let us know they can't go.
I appreciate there might be legitimate reasons for not being able to go but there is NO excuse for not telling anyone. For a number of people Gavin only found out they weren't going when he asked them yesterday, 2 days before the event!
This is always a great weekend and am very disappointed that some people's laziness and complete lack of decency could jeopardize the event, tarnish our reputation and risk us not being invited back.

For 9 people to pull out last minute without even letting anyone know is simply not on. There are jackets bought for you by the organisers and accommodation has also been paid for.Caoimhe_F wrote:(if ye want these changed or can't go anymore, let me know as I'll be sending this list off tomorrow too)
