Just as an idea to help prevent muscles from feeling stiff and also to increase flexibility and power, doing a few yoga exercises after a long day of paddling help hugely. Especially good for trips such as the alps or any other multiple day trips involving continuous white water.
A few of the poses which help best with the muscle groups used in kayaking are:
1-Down Dog Twist
2-Navasana Twist
3-Ardha Navasana
4-Revolved Utkatasana
