Just throwing this out there but is anyone interested in doing an RSR 2 course?? I think it would be very beneficial to anyone who's been in the club for a while or plans on staying around. Safety is our top priority whenever we go out on the river so it's good for everyone to have sufficient knowledge of it.

The clubs leaders won't be around forever to do all the work either!! Eventually you will be the ones leading the club and you'll have to know what you're doing!!

Anyone who would be interested in doing a course at some stage just say so in this thread. This most likely won't happen till next semester but it can happen before Christmas if suitable.

More information on the course can be found here : http://canoe.ie/river-safety-and-rescue-training/

I need to sit in on one.
Sheep, like all wool-bearing animals, instinctively travel north, where it's colder, and they won't be so stuffy.

I think I need to sit in on another one. I sat in on the last one though so I would expect someone else will get priority which is fine.

Same boat as Gav, Stephen, Paul and Mark. Like Paul said I've done one so the others can get preference (unless Slev is doing it).
