Hi just looking for a bit of help. where can i get a reasonable quality sleeping bag for less than €40 for to use in Kerry and Wales. I could spend a bit more but I don't think I would use it enough to justify a more expensive one.

Best place for that kind of stuff around Limerick is Radar Stores, on Foxes Bow. I've no idea about prices of sleeping bags these days but even if they don't have something suitable you'll get great advice in there, the staff are dead sound and know their shit.

Also, it is worth spending a bit of money on a sleeping bag. It's great to have a decent one for staying in shitty cold hostels or camping at kayaking events at stupid times of the year. They last too, I bought one in Radar Stores over 10 years ago and it's still working fine. And it's not like it's just been sitting there, I've used it shitloads for scouts and kayaking.

The army surplus store down somewhere between dunnes and henry Street garda station is good too and probably a bit cheaper.
