After seeing the gauge yesterday I really wish we were able to do this more often at short notice as yesterday evening would have been perfect.

I know it was done in the past but I have no idea who was involved??

Does anyone know anywhere where we could source a big enough light and power source for future reference? :D

It was John Kelly who sourced the light the last time we went out. Not sure where he got it but I think we brought lights as well and they were nowhere near powerful enough.

Sheep, like all wool-bearing animals, instinctively travel north, where it's colder, and they won't be so stuffy.

I'll get on to him so and see exactly what sort of lights he was using.

Anyone else have any other ideas?

Hire a set of Tripod Flood Lights and petrol generator from a Plant Hire?

Or alternatively look into buying a set and a generator and then Special Apps it.

I'd be up for this if it's a weekend, don't think renting is an option with the nature of glens.

Ha a portable petrol generator? With a hand truck and two people you could position it easily enough beside top drop. Small petrol generators are not normally more than 30kgs.

I just ordered a Led Light Panel yesterday, so when I get that it will provide enough light to run top drop.
