ICU are launching a Blueway kayak intitiative www.canoe.ie/blueway10k. It is basically getting people who have never paddled before to train over the summer and complete a 10k paddle at the end of the summer.
They are running a series of training days on how to instruct and deliver kayaking to beginners. I would recommend anyone who is interested in instruction to get involved. I can bring a few people with me if they are interested. It is not in any way a commitment to work for me and you won't owe me anything. They are running one in Limerick soon. If you want to come along let me know.
Also, I am sure if the club asked they would be delighted if any of the club instructors or future instructors came along and brushed up on some skills.
