Extended Alps/Europe trip Mid April

Hi lads, I'm strongly thinking of heading to Europe from mid April to end of June provisionally any advice from ye especially those who have spent summers there would be much appreciated, also need to buy a boat a helmet and unfountunetely maybe a paddle

Corsica - Italy - France is the route you want to do over that period. Check out the dates of all the various events and competitions and try to hit as many of them as you can, they're always good for a party and finding other people to paddle with. Keep your travel dates flexible so you can move based on water levels. Maybe wander up to Norway towards the end if you have the time/money/right people.

I'd say find a job somewhere mountainous.
Working in a bar or driving shuttle for a raft company. D1 licence and CPC needed.
With the above work you don't get sick of kayaking but you're in an area where there are loads of paddlers.

I wouldn't aim to move around too much unless the opportunity to go with the perfect crew presented itself.
Getting places is expensive.

Whatever plan you make, at the end of the day, it's going to end up changing anyways!
