The normal Outback arrangement for paddling now applies again for training and similar purposes.

Please note that there is still a reasonable flow from UL towards the city, so paddling back upstream from Corbally is going to be not as easy as usual.

Take care out there!

Since the water levels have returned to some form of ordinary level, below 230 cumecs from Parteen Weir, that's the level that we allow the special outback paddling arrangements. If the release goes above 230 cumecs from Parteen weir, that's the point that we close outback again.
Another was of seeing this level is when water starts to fill the field between College Court and the Travelodge - if there's standing water there, then outback is not safe for solo paddling.

(stickied for 10 days)

Reason: Edited - if there's standing water between the Travelodge and College Court, then outback is closed.
