Vote on the poll the days you will definitely be down in Kerry for. We need to know who will be down when to see if its viable to actually rent a house or if it will have to be a hostel.
Don't vote unless you are certain of a day, voting is committing to renting a space, price will all depend on how many people go.
I have just put down 10 days as that is all it allows me to.
We also have the sprinter from the 27th(can get it for the 26th I would imagine) till the morning of the 4th(has to be back then as mountain bikers are taking it at 10am)

Flesk race is scheduled for the 27th. Would be handy to have the van for that. Can feels the stoutness already.

Not sure if I'd call that a minor detour Keyes.

Only €82 for a flight from Kerry to Dublin tho. That'll save a bit of time.

The LOW DOWN on what's UP

Where are we staying?

We have 15 places booked in the Sleepy Camel Hostel
The Hostel itself has a huge kitchen for cooking up big, cheap and delicious group dinners.
There's also a spacious sitting room, free wifi and a place to wash your clothes!
All you need for a week long paddling trip.

When are we staying?
From the28th Dec to the 2nd Jan
Please inform us ASAP of the dates you will be staying.
It will determine wheather or not you get a bed.

How much will it cost?
Short answer.. Not a lot. It will be very affordable.
We have yet to come up with a pricing scheme.
Those staying an entire week will get a more favourable rate.
The longer you stay, the better value you'll get!

Transport?
We will have the use of the UL sprinter.
The van will be down in kerry for the entire week and be a godsend for trouble free shuttles.
The more cars that can be brought down the better though. So people can work of their own schedules.

Who is this trip for?
Everybody!
With such a large numer of paddlers coming down to Kerry for New Years there
will be boating for all levels of whitewater kayaker.
It's a fantastic opertuinity to chat to other kayakers from around the country,
make new friends and see new rivers.... And there are some serious rivers you will want to see down in Kerry.
This video, endorsed by Eoin "gonesoft" Farrell, captures the essense of Kerry New Years.
