Night time think tank

So, I wanna do the fuckin Glens after work. Only problem is I've got no damn light.

What I propose is simple... We create a miniature Gas Giant (Club chemical engineers need to get to work) which is tethered to your phones GPRS, you wear the phone round your neck and hey presto! You've got your very own guiding light!

But seriously, if we start with a generator and a flood light or two we could see how top drop goes then look into Big Eas maybe, followed by the other significant rapids. Finally we could look at high power head/boat torches for use in between the flood lit sections.

Frightfully ambitious, dreadfully daring and darn right ridiculous! That's how this club has been know to operate in the past, I want to know if it's lost it's creative spark!

I've been talking about doing this for years. Me and Ethan came close to doing it in 2nd year.

No generator needed. Mountain bike lights would do the job, and are portable.

I'm not familiar with top drop but could it be lit from a search light mounted on a vehicle. Like American copy cars or when Howard goes lamping.

Nay you aren't able to drive up there unfortunately. The road stops a couple of hundred metres and you have to walk through bushes and mud to get there.

The Glens is pumping now and there could be a good chance that it will be running this evening.

Who actually has decent torches that we could head out to Top Drop this evening?

John you have a "very strong cycling torch".
Anyone else got a big ass torch or a small generator that we could use as I have a small flood light.
