Anybody free for a while tomorrow spent today trying to catch a swan who has fishing line and a nasty treble hook and spinner stuck in his beak near his eye used kayaks to try to coner him but just need to entice him with food tomorrow and through a net over him just some people on the bank might do maybe one in the water I have a Canadian and one sit on top kayak 2 of us tried today but cud do with maybe 2 more people also he never got aggressive just fly off a short distance

Whereabouts is the swan? Do the Animal Magic Rescue people have any way they can knock it out so people don't have to get close to it while its conscious? They are ridiculously hostile when they get cornered.
Sheep, like all wool-bearing animals, instinctively travel north, where it's colder, and they won't be so stuffy.

The swan that is..Not the rescuers.

Animal magic spent 3 hrs trying to catch him on Sunday but had no boat or kayak no u can't knock them out how wud u know much to use weight etc. the animal magic guy is in hospital with very bad asmatha pat lysaght who is also good at this stuff is not available due to personal reasons he never got hostile just need a bigger net and get a bunch of swans eating bread and take very slow and carefully lads gave me advice who have caught them before and my mam knows the drill also we just need some younger fitter people mam has v bad back

He was at the Guinness bridge near st Patricks gaa pitch where the plaster,corbally canal meets the Shannon he is now half way between there and the stone bridge on the corbally road with a bunch of other swans when we left as it was too dark
