Flooding update from Limerick
Limerick City and County Council says water levels along the Lower River Shannon in Limerick have recorded a nominal decrease (less than an inch) overnight and during Wednesday morning.
Council staff remain on site in Castleconnell, Montpelier, Mountshannon Road (Lisnagry) and in the Limerick City area where they are continuing to assist local property owners.
The Council has also received confirmation from the ESB of its decision to decrease discharge levels from the Parteen Weir on the Lower River Shannon from 440 cubic metres per second (cumecs) to 405 cumecs from 6pm on Wednesday evening.

They're only reducing the flow tonight so it should be perfect tomorrow and through the weekend if it stays the same release.

Boring. All the good waves and stuff are washed out and the level is too low to make any new ones.

I'm guessing S-bend is still too dodgy for beginners?
