And with that, I would like to bring an RPM to Gower!
Sheep, like all wool-bearing animals, instinctively travel north, where it's colder, and they won't be so stuffy.

In the unlikely event that Gower is shite craic and Tuam is at perfect levels on Friday (I can always hope.....) I will be zooming down the road to Tuam anyway

For now we'll say Gower. Meeting at 8am (will know more about BH restrictions before that)

I didn't bags it. I merely showed my intent to paddle this fine vessel on said named river feature.

So I have no racks
Plan is as follows:
Meeting at the Boathouse at 8am (unless we need nothing from here, does anybody need gear?)

Gavin is driving the Landcruiser - taking allllll the boats (prob 9 max)
I'll drive and take 4 other people
Stephen can you drive and take one more person?

If we do it that way with everyone who has signed up (I counted 7), Gavin won't have to squeeze anyone else into the Landcruiser full of boats....
If needs be he can probs squeeze one in but after that we'll need another driver with boat transport

Laura I have you included in this! Come along if you're doing nothing else and see how you feel, none of us know what it will be like so calls will be made that morning :)

Now everyone go light a few candles and hope it's not shite craic

Actually guys there was a serious incident on cc today, a group of out of towners. I wasn't paddling it but happened along at the Get-off.The boat is still out there, so would the swimmer be if not for a great rescue - through the trees on the left below the castle wall, which is never a problem at usual high levels. Advice from Colm and Neil is not to paddle it at this super-high level, you're really in trouble if you swim. So I won't be going on it this Friday unless the level drops a bit. Love to get out on something though so maybe I might join in on something.

Below castlewall? Is that not just pretty much flatwater?

Not at this level. At normal high levels it's fine, but at this level the flow pulls you hard left towards the trees.
