Just up in lough derg. If they don't release more the flooding above the dams going to increase like mad.

The waters nearly up to most of the sailing clubs buildings.

Just ran worrels end to the Castleoaks. Not much on it except the bridge. No bother going under the bridge, few waves after it that can be surfed.

Thats the river looking downstream from the Clareville Waterworks at the get off. You can kind of see the correct flow of the river in there somewhere. I wouldn't be sure to be honest. It's flat for the most part at lower water. Might get a bit dodgy around Kilmurry and above that at this level if the water is flowing through trees and stuff. Not sure to be honest.
Sheep, like all wool-bearing animals, instinctively travel north, where it's colder, and they won't be so stuffy.

Were we given any notice that the boathouse was to be locked down? Can't even get gear out.

Nope. They said it to Jack yesterday afternoon when he went to get something. Not a chance the boathouse will even get wet.

Water is rising to 405 cumecs today so it's gonna rise a lot more.

I think it was Shane they said it to, did they give you a reason or did they eventually let you?
I need to get my stuff so hoping they will let us in

No they just said it was closed because of the floods. I went down and it is nowhere near flooding. No there was no way they were letting me in.

There are concerns I think about the access road, with the fields behind Maxol affecting the council Road. The building itself should be fine..
Might be issues with the electric supply as well.

I don't think security should have the power to deny access, given we are experts in water..

I was down by the pess today and had never thought it would get this high. The water is about a foot off the little waterfall just beside that blackbridge.
