I can still drive :) take 4 boats and thus 3 other people... Definitely wouldn't stay Sunday, would prefer to go up Saturday morning, but if it makes more sense to go Friday due to dam release / darkness falling, I can free myself the Friday night... Not sure who my passengers will be as need suitable leaders...

I'm still gagging for this if we get enough people/leaders. I can drive the people that Diarmaid plans on abandoning or bunk with Mark if we don't need it, whichever suits.

People doesn't appear to be the problem... drivers and rack space is :( Diarmaid when you head home afterwards, how long would it be before you return to Limerick? would it be possible for you to keep boats on your roof until you do? and that way brian could take your passengers? just a thought. . .

Order of sign-up
Conor (I presume by posting about it you wanted to go?)
Stephen
Brian
Darragh
Shane
Mark Fitz
Diarmaid
Cormac
Mac
Bobby
Patrick

[*]But myself and Diarmaid kinda have to be let paddle if we're driving.....
so that's 2/4 roof space (if I have to take home diarmaid's boat afterwards) then Conor&Stephen (or Stephen&Brian, if conor isn't going)get the other 2...
---- would a trip of 1 Level 4 & 3 L3 on boluisce be allowed?

[*]Alternatively, (if going on who signed up first) I could take 4 boats, - mine, Conor, Stephen, Brian, and Brian could drive to do shuttle

[*]If Diarmaid can keep 4 boats on his roof for the weekend, then we have space for 8 paddlers... and Brian driving the 3 passengers back home...

Just thinking of combinations to try get a collective decision made :L

If the boats will be safe with Diarmaid for the rest of the weekend that would probably be fine but it's his call.

FYI dam released could be called off if it doesn't rain this week as it doesn't have much water behind it.
I can bring 2 boats because I won't have space to store more than that over the rest of the weekend.
I'm heading home when ever we finish paddling and going to Limerick on Monday

And when are we likely to know for sure? Friday? :/
well that leaves us with 6 boat spaces :) but Brian will probably have to drive to, as 5 could technically fit in my car, but with 4 creekers and 5 sets of WET kayaking gear, my car is just too small :(

Well unless Brian's situation has changed, he can't go up until Saturday, I'm still stuck at a graduation Friday night, so unless Diarmaid wanted to take a car full up?
When will we know for sure if there's a release, and a what time do we want to be up there for? (with 4 creekers on my little car will take 2+ hours :/)

Ya I probably will not be able to drive as well until Saturday morning I'm working evening shifts this weekend.
We might not know until Friday if the release is definitely happening.
I'll bring 3 boats if someone really wants a go on the river.
So who is definitely going now?
It will take me about an hour and a half to get there.

Just to be clear on who's going. So for sure we have Mark, Brian and Diarmaid driving at the weekend. ( Hope I'm right there )

That means 7 boat spaces and more then enough seats. That leaves room for myself, Stevo, Daragh and Shane as things stand now.

Looks like we're definitely going to have to leave early on the Saturday morning from peoples availability.

Where can you find out if the dam release is happening or not Diarmaid??

Easiest thing to do is contact GKC as they are doing a level 4 assessment if the dam release is happening.
