Ladies and Gentlemen,

This Thursday, October 20th, we have organised the finest of river trips on the mighty Shannon as it flows from Castle Connell downwards. We have Thursday off college due to the open days so there are no excuses to miss this.

We'll meet in the boathouse at about 11.30 where we'll practice using throw ropes and talking through some scenarios that can happen on the river. All while having "the bants".

At about 12.30/1.00 we'll get on the road to Castleconnell where we might extend our run by a little bit if we're feeling a bit cheeky. (We might even stop on the way for some hot chicken rolls!!!)

Errybody's welcome!! (swimming togs, towel and shoes for on the water are the bare minimum gear)
