No idea how long it is, ideally we'll be using a mix of sea kayaks and Golas but it'll depend on transport

Thanks guys. I got sorted for everyone's contact details and I can do without the DOBs.

Just a heads up, we're going to be short boats for some disciplines at the weekend since we're restricted in what we can bring up by roofrack space. We havn't got the Sprinter and no-one who's going has a tow-bar. There will be demo boats at each event and other clubs are usually pretty sound so if you end up at an event with no boat you're going to have to beg/borrow/steal something to let you compete.

...consider it part of the competition, a lot of people will probably be in the same situation so if we want to beat them in the competition we're going to have to be better than them at 'acquiring' boats to paddle!

Hey Guys!

Each individual participant has to pay a registration fee for the weekend. This will be 20euro for a student and 30 for a non-student.

The club will cover half of the fee so that means any member taking part needs to bring 10euro with them at the weekend to give to me!

Any non-student members will need to bring 15euro.

Thanks lads!

Here's a map with Kilkenny Canoe Club marked on it for anyone who's driving down. This is where all the events that are happening in Kilkenny will be based

Pat, or anyone else who's driving to Clashganny, the carpark for the slalom and wildwater events is marked here: https://mapsengine.google.com/map/viewe ... i5mi1yYNqk

My house is at the bottom of the map on the Waterford Road - and the turn off is approximately at the 'r' in WateRford' so you're looking for an estate called Clongowen - you drive in, take the first right, then left and its the corner house - no.16. Call me if you make it that far and are still lost and I'll give you more directions! :P

Yeah should do
Sheep, like all wool-bearing animals, instinctively travel north, where it's colder, and they won't be so stuffy.

Also, I just heard that we can take the Sprinter for the weekend :D So we can take pretty much all the boats we want! The windsurfers are generously making do without it for us so thank Annie next time you see her!
